You will work closely with lead teachers to create engaging, nurturing classrooms that support children's growth across literacy, math, social skills, and emotional well-being. Responsibilities Hiring Full Time and Part Time Classroom Assistant Teachers for growing Childcare facility. Openings with both infants & toddlers and Pre K age groups are available. Part-time hours are in the afternoon, and you must be available until 5:30pm . Experience in childcare is preferred but not required. Must undergo Criminal background check with fingerprinting and all DHR requirements for employment. Pay ranges from 12.00-18.00/hour depending on experience and education in Early Childhood Education. Our hours of operation are 6:30-5:30 pm. We are looking to establish long term employee relationships. Support lead teachers in delivering age-appropriate lessons and activities aligned with curriculum standards. Assist in developing and implementing lesson plans that promote literacy education, math skills, and social-emotional learning. Foster a positive classroom environment by managing behavior and encouraging cooperation among children. Provide attentive care to children's individual needs, including toddlers, preschoolers, or students with special needs such as autism or disabilities. Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom setting conducive to learning and play. Engage with children during activities, promoting early childhood education principles like Montessori or preschool methodologies. Communicate effectively with parents and team members to support each child's development and well-being. Skills Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, private school settings, or similar environments. Strong understanding of childhood development stages and early childhood education practices. Knowledge of classroom management strategies and behavior management techniques. Familiarity with curriculum development for literacy education, math instruction, and inclusive teaching practices for children with special needs or disabilities. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and connect with children and families. Ability to implement lesson planning effectively while adapting to individual student needs.
