Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated 1st Grade Teacher Assistant to join our vibrant educational team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting classroom instruction, fostering a positive learning environment, and assisting with the development of young learners. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help inspire children to reach their full potential during their foundational early childhood education years. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with teachers, students, and families to promote academic success and social-emotional growth. Responsibilities Support lead teacher in implementing lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, including literacy education, math, and early childhood development activities Assist with classroom management to create a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for young learners Provide individualized attention and support to students with diverse needs Help facilitate activities that promote social skills, behavior management, and positive interactions among students Prepare classroom materials, organize learning centers, and assist with daily routines such as snack time, bathroom breaks, and transitions Monitor student progress and communicate observations to teachers for ongoing assessment and curriculum development Requirements Prior experience working with children in early childhood settings is highly preferred Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, literacy education, and math instruction Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with teachers, students, and families Ability to manage classroom dynamics while maintaining a positive atmosphere conducive to learning Experience in classroom management and working with children of various developmental stages Certification or training in early childhood education or related fields is a plus but not mandatory Join us in shaping the future by supporting young learners during their most formative years!
