Open to BCS Aides and Substitute Aides (Hiring will be based on Summer Seniority)
Program Details:
1 prep day and 1 holiday (WV Day) Site Coordinator/Interventionist hours: 7:30 AM â€" 2 PM on programmatic days Student attendance: 8:00 AM â€" 1:30 PM daily
Pay:
Daily rate (based on Boone County Schools Teacher Pay Scale) Positions are contingent upon student enrollment at each site
Program Schedule:
June 5 â€" Prep Day (No Students) June 8 â€" First Day of Students June 8 â€" June 25 â€" Students attend Monday through Thursday only June 19 â€" No School (WV Day) June 25th
  • Last day with June 26th Close Out Teachers will:
  • Work with Coordinator to plan program
  • Maintain required documentation during program and submit final report.
  • Work with general ed, Title I and Special Ed teachers to identify participating student needs
  • Work with parents of participating students
  • Develop curriculum & daily lesson plans for use with students during program
  • Monitor student progress, including use of iReady Assessment data
  • Assess program effectiveness during and at the conclusion of the program, including data of student progress to complete final reports
  • Provide engaging STEAM activities
  • Manage student transition to program areas
  • Teachers will complete payroll sheets in a timely manner
