This position involves working closely with children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers and school age to create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and experience in childcare settings. Responsibilities Assist in the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development. Provide care for infants and toddlers, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times. Support children with disabilities by adapting activities to meet their individual needs. Foster a positive learning environment through effective behavior management techniques. Maintain a clean and organized classroom or play area to ensure a safe space for children. Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and any concerns that may arise. Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive team approach to childcare. Participate in training sessions to enhance skills related to early childhood education and caregiving. Experience Candidates should possess the following skills and experiences: Previous experience working with children in various capacities such as babysitting, nannying, or daycare settings. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices. Familiarity with first aid procedures is preferred or willing to be trained Background in teaching or classroom experience is advantageous. Experience caring for infants and toddlers is highly desirable and school age children A passion for working with people with disabilities is a plus. This role requires dedication, creativity, and a genuine love for nurturing the next generation.
