Assistant Teacher

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated experienced Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role involves planning and implementing engaging educational activities that align with early childhood development principles, while also ensuring the safety and well-being of all students. Duties Develop and implement lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration. Utilize effective behavior management techniques to maintain a positive classroom environment. Teach physical education activities that encourage motor skills development. Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians. Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing atmosphere for all children. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience and share best practices. Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's development and classroom activities. Qualifications High School diphloma or GED required, Child Development Associates degree (CDA) 1 year or more of experience working with preschool-aged children in a Early Childhood classroom or educational settings. Strong understanding of childhood development principles and practices. Ability to plan engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning styles. Knowledge of behavior management strategies to effectively guide children's behavior. Experience in teaching physical education or incorporating movement into lessons is a plus. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
