Job Summary:
Supervise students in In-School Suspension, keep a structured and positive environment, and help students complete their classwork while following school rules.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and monitor students in ISS at all times. Collect and return student assignments to teachers. Help students with classwork as needed. Keep accurate attendance and behavior records.. Encourage positive behavior and good choices. Maintain confidentiality about student discipline. Perform other duties assigned by the principal.
Qualifications:
High school diploma/GED and successful completion of the Paraprofessional Exam OR Associate degree OR At least 60 college credit hours Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, counselors, and administrators. Must provide three references, including at least two from a previous supervisor or teacher.
