An individual with experience working with individuals with behavioral needs Contract 185 Days Evaluator Building Principal Job Description This position of Behavior Interventionist works alongside the Building Administration and district Behavior Analyst to support students' behavioral needs. The Behavior Interventionist will collaborate with the School Intervention Team to support student engagement. The interventionist may provide or assist with continuous progress monitoring (data analysis) related to behavior intervention plans and other evidence-based practices for students. The interventionist demonstrates positive interpersonal skills, cooperative teamwork, multi-agency coordination, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. The interventionist delivers targeted behavior intervention services to students who are at risk. Job Responsibilities In collaboration with the building administration and district behavior analyst, perform the following: support and participate in the effective implementation of the Response to Instruction and Intervention (RTI2) framework To collaborate with stakeholders to create effective behavior management programs Follow Student Support Plan and collect data as needed. To provide consultation with teachers and administrators on behavioral issues Collaborate with the School Intervention Team to develop plans, goals, interventions, etc. Participate in instructional team meetings to identify and support Tier II behavior interventions Participate in School Intervention Team meetings to identify and support Tier III behavior interventions Maintain a current knowledge of behavioral intervention practices and related areas Maintain confidentiality of all student information Support and promote the district's mission, vision, values and the implementation of the strategic plan Willing and able to participate in restraint training and pass the test Perform other duties as assigned
