Job Summary:

The main role of this position is to assist with summer programming. The Summer Program Assistants will be the group leaders for Stop, Drop and Play by interacting with MVPs, following the schedule given, and setting an example for volunteers while they are here.

Job Location:

Ability Tree R.E.S.T. Center (2350 E Tahlequah, Siloam Springs, AR 72761)

Responsibilities and Duties:

Lead by example by interacting, praising, and encouraging the students during Stop, Drop and Play, along with any additional program assigned to (Extended Hours, Connections, etc.) Lead cleaning procedures at the end of the day Assist with check in procedures when participants arrive Be willing to help with additional projects during downtime or between groups Communicate any needs or concerns to the

Recreation Director Qualifications and Skills:

Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities is encouraged, but not necessary Reliable transportation necessary Be available from Tuesdays-Thursdays during the day - exact schedule will be determined upon hiring

Pay:
