Full Job Description Imagine Prep Superstition Instructional Assistant Position Title:

Associates Degree Preferred but not required (test may be required)

Meet Title I requirements (education or test)
Position Summary:
Instructional Assistants are an integral part of the school day. They provide support to teachers, office personnel, administration, and students. The duties and responsibilities may change on any given day, in addition to the regular schedule. The workday is during student contact time. Instructional assistants participate in professional development and staff meetings.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Math skills at Algebra level or above Proficient reading and writing skills Ability to establish relationships Flexibility Collaboration and communication skills
Job Responsibilities:
Assist classroom teachers with various tasks, grading, bulletin boards, and other tasks as requested. Assist and support office staff as requested and/or assigned. Provide supervision during morning and lunch times. Assist teachers with classroom supervision while the teacher in instructing and during work time. Ability to work closely with teachers, staff and administration. Maintain confidentiality regarding students and staff. Assist students as needed. Participate in staff development. Perform all other duties as assigned by the administration.
Working Conditions:
Work is performed inside and outside. The workweek is 5 days. All holidays and breaks apply. ( work hours may be available) Safety of staff and students is a priority.
