The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners, focusing on their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role requires effective communication skills and a strong commitment to fostering a love for learning through engaging lesson plans and activities. Responsibilities Educate and care for children in a safe and supportive environment. Help Develop and implement lesson plans that align with educational standards while incorporating Montessori principles. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns. Manage the classroom effectively to create an organized and positive learning atmosphere. Provide individualized support to students, including those requiring special education services. Foster social skills through group activities and collaborative play. Monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs. Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming classroom environment conducive to learning. Qualifications Experience working with young children in a daycare or preschool setting is preferred. Knowledge of toddler care practices and early childhood education principles. Strong classroom management skills with the ability to maintain order while encouraging creativity. Proficiency in lesson planning that incorporates math and other foundational skills. Familiarity with special education practices is a plus. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with students, parents, and staff.
