Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Paraprofessional in a school-based setting near Chandler, AZ. As a vital member of the educational team, you'll be onsite every day, directly impacting students' educational journeys while collaborating with teachers, multidisciplinary professionals, and administrators.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Active Arizona Special Education Teaching License or Certificate Current IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card Previous experience within a paraprofessional or support staff capacity in schools Strong understanding of special education compliance, IEP processes, and support strategies Excellent communication skills for collaboration with diverse teams and families Dedication to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment
Responsibilities & Duties:
Guide the creation, implementation, and ongoing evaluation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to ensure each student's unique needs are met Manage the referral and student evaluation process, including participating in placement and review conferences Provide training and coordinate curriculum development with staff, sharing strategies and resources for student success Serve as a bridge between educators, administrators, parents, and related service providers, ensuring alignment and open communication Support daily classroom activities, encourage student independence, and implement instructional adaptations under the direction of certified staff Maintain compliance with state and federal special education regulations This full-time onsite role offers a dynamic and meaningful work experience for those passionate about making a lasting impact in students' lives.
