Part-Time Teacher's Aide & Program Support Overview POWER Learning Studio Microschool is seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and self-motivated Teacher's Aide & Program Support team member to join our growing learning community. This position is ideal for someone who loves working with children, values individualized and project-based learning, and enjoys being part of a collaborative, community-focused educational environment. As a small microschool, our team members wear many hats and play an important role in supporting students academically, socially, and emotionally. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while helping create engaging learning experiences both inside and outside the classroom. Responsibilities Student & Classroom Support Support students during daily learning activities, projects, and enrichment opportunities. Assist with small-group and one-on-one instruction as directed by the lead teacher. Help create and maintain a positive, safe, inclusive, and emotionally supportive learning environment. Support classroom routines, organization, and behavior management using positive and relationship-based approaches. Supervise students during transitions, outdoor activities, lunch, and community outings. Project-Based Learning & Enrichment Assist with planning and facilitating project-based learning activities. Help prepare materials and learning spaces for lessons and hands-on projects. Support the development of enrichment opportunities, clubs, community service projects, and special events. Encourage creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and student-led exploration. Field Trips & Community Engagement Assist with planning, coordinating, and supervising field trips and community-based learning experiences. Help ensure student safety during off-campus activities. Support transportation logistics and communication when needed. Participate in community partnerships and educational outings. Outreach & Program Support Assist with community outreach and enrollment efforts. Help create social media content and marketing materials. Represent POWER Learning Studio positively within the community. Support special events, open houses, and family engagement activities. Qualifications Experience working with children required. Knowledge of child development, education, psychology, social work, or related fields preferred. Experience in alternative education, project-based learning, homeschooling, microschools, or outdoor education is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating as part of a small team. Organized, flexible, dependable, and solution-oriented. Passion for supporting the whole child and individualized learning. Must pass a background check. Must possess a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card. CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
