Job Description

Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Bring your passion for supporting students and your expertise as a paraprofessional to an inclusive, collaborative educational environment near Glendale, AZ. This full-time, contract opportunity allows you to play an essential role in delivering quality support to students and upholding compliance standards. As an onsite-only position, your hands-on presence will make a daily difference in the lives of students, families, and colleagues.
Key Qualifications:
Valid IVP Fingerprint Card (Arizona requirement) Hold an active Special Education Teaching License or Certificate in Arizona Previous experience working as a paraprofessional or in a similar support capacity within a school setting Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, administrators, and families Demonstrated understanding of compliance procedures, IEP development, and student evaluation processes
Primary Responsibilities:
Guide the development, implementation, and evaluation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to meet diverse student needs Participate actively in administering referrals, conducting student evaluations, and coordinating placement and review conferences Support curriculum coordination and offer staff development opportunities to promote best practices among team members Facilitate effective communication between teams, administrators, and parents to ensure a unified approach to student progress Maintain thorough documentation and ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines for special education support If you are dedicated to empowering students, fostering an inclusive atmosphere, and are ready to contribute to a supportive school community, we want to hear from you.
