Job Description

Position Overview Little Miracles Daycare & Preschool is seeking a dedicated, nurturing, and dependable team member to serve as a full time Lead Teacher in our Infant Room while also continuing to support leadership responsibilities as an Assistant Director when needed . This role is first and foremost centered around providing exceptional care, structure, and developmental support to our youngest children, while also assisting ownership with daily operations, staff guidance, and maintaining the high standards of Little Miracles. Primary Role - Infant Classroom Responsibilities Provide loving, attentive, and safe care for infants throughout the day Maintain a calm, nurturing, and organized classroom environment Follow all feeding, nap, diapering, and care schedules based on each child's individual needs Accurately log feedings, diaper changes, naps, and milestones in Brightwheel Communicate regularly with parents through Brightwheel with updates, photos, and notes Implement age appropriate sensory, developmental, and faith based learning activities Support infants in reaching developmental milestones through tummy time, language exposure, music, movement, and interactive play Maintain strict cleanliness and sanitation standards in the classroom Ensure bottles, belongings, and supplies are properly labeled and organized Follow all safety procedures and licensing requirements at all times Build strong, trusting relationships with families and create a positive first classroom experience for parents Secondary Role - Assistant Director Support When needed, this role will also support administrative and leadership functions including: Leadership Responsibilities Assist with opening and closing procedures Help manage staffing needs and classroom coverage to maintain ratios Support employee coaching, accountability, and daily task completion Assist with parent communication and addressing questions or concerns Help ensure curriculum is being properly implemented across classrooms Maintain center cleanliness, organization, and operational standards Step in to support classrooms as needed during busy times or staff absences Help execute the vision, mission, and standards established by ownership Qualifications Experience working with infants in a licensed childcare setting preferred Strong leadership ability and willingness to support center operations Excellent communication and organizational skills Warm, patient, and nurturing personality Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment Passion for working with children and supporting families Alignment with Little Miracles' faith based values What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who can lead our infant room with excellence while also being a trusted support to ownership and staff when leadership help is needed. This role requires someone who is hands on, dependable, and passionate about creating a loving and high quality environment for children and families.
Pay:
From $20.00 per hour

This position requires flexible full-time availability between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM Monday-Friday. Are you able to commit to this schedule? A minimum of 6 months' prior experience is required.
