Job Responsibilities:

Support lead teachers in implementing high-quality instruction aligned with the classical liberal arts model Provide academic assistance to students in small groups and one-on-one settings Reinforce strong classroom management and uphold school-wide expectations for behavior and discipline Prepare and organize instructional materials and classroom resources Assist with grading, record-keeping, and data tracking to support student progress monitoring Supervise students during transitions, recess, and lunch to ensure safety and positive interactions Support school events, assemblies, and extracurricular activities as needed Collaborate with teachers and staff to foster a culture of high expectations and achievement Step in and lead the classroom in the teacher's absence , ensuring continuity of instruction and maintaining Candeo's high academic and behavioral standards Engage in ongoing professional development to grow in knowledge and instructional skills

Job Requirements:

Experience working with children in an educational setting , preferably in a classical, Core Knowledge, or Hillsdale-affiliated school Associate's degree or higher (Bachelor's degree preferred) Strong technical skills in Google Suite, Excel, and Microsoft Word Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt and assist with various tasks in a dynamic school environment High level of initiative, professionalism, and dependability Passion for classical education and the pursuit of wisdom and virtue

Required:

Ability to obtain an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card prior to employment
