K-3 Reading Paraprofessional, West Valley, AZ Part time • Charter One Description Charter One works with schools across the country to provide all-inclusive education management services. At Charter One we pride ourselves on our thorough knowledge of charter school operations, academics, finance, human resources, information technology, marketing, and more. We handle the day-to-day work so that client school boards can focus on governance and policy issues to be sure that the vision and mission of the school are being carried out properly. American Leadership Academy is currently accepting applications for a MOWR Paraprofessional for the 2026-2027 school year for our campuses in the West Valley. Candidates must possess, or be willing to obtain, an AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance card. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Modifying or adapting instruction for students with disabilities Working with individual students or small groups of students to reinforce learning of material or skills introduced by the teacher Providing one-on-one assistance to students with disabilities Guiding independent study, enrichment work, and remedial work with students as set up and assigned by the teacher Assisting students with self-care tasks (as necessary) Completed at least 60 credit hours of study at an institution of higher education OR obtained an associate's degree or higher OR a passing score on the AZ Dept. of Education Paraprofessional assessment Other duties as assigned Candidates with the following qualities will thrive as part of our growing ALA team: Leadership and team collaboration skills Positive interpersonal and communication skills Organizational skills and self-management to effectively handle multiple responsibilities Commitment to go above and beyond when necessary to reach goals.
