The program strives to empower families with support and resources to be the first teachers of their children and to enable them to meet their personal goals.
Current Employment Opportunities:
Teacher Assistant (8 hours a day) Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or CDA Preschool or early childhood work experience Effective verbal and written communication skills Computer skills. Must have a valid Arizona Driver's License and proof of insurance and must provide own vehicle for home visits.

K Job Purpose Statement:
Classroom teacher assistants are responsible for providing a developmentally appropriate, high quality early childhood experience for the children and families enrolled.
Essential Duties:
Ensuring the care, welfare, and safety of all children at all times per EEC Regulations, Office of Head Start Standards, and program policies. Assist in the planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum for children with and without special needs, ages 3-4-in compliance with the Head Start Early Learning Framework, Guidelines for Preschool Learning Experience, and AZ Early Learning Standards Through the use of the following tools, CLASS, DECA, ESI, Creative Curriculum, and Teaching Strategies Gold Supervising children to ensure full compliance with Greater Phoenix Head Start, AZ daycare licensing and OHS safety and supervision regulations Follow guidance from lead teacher, coaches, and supervisors to ensure quality services for children and families. Conducting ongoing assessments and screenings; completing data entry by program deadlines Assist in arranging regular opportunities for parents to be actively engaged in their child's education including formal and informal meetings, classroom celebrations, and providing support for monthly parent meetings. Assists in conducting a minimum of (2) parent conferences and (2) home visits per program year.: Perform cleaning duties to maintain a clean, orderly classroom environment.
