Job Description

Established Montessori School is looking for Full-Time Assistant Teachers at the following levels for the upcoming 2021/2022
School Year:
Elementary II - Ages 9 to 12 The hours for these positions range from 7:45am to 3:30pm (35-40 hrs per week), Monday through Friday. As an assistant you will provide support to the lead teacher and help run the daily activities and lessons in the classroom. This individual must be organized, compassionate, professional and passionate about working with children! Experience in the Montessori classroom is a strong plus but not required.
Requirements:
Experience working with children in an education environment Able to work well in collaboratively with a team Able to multitask and problem solve effectively Strong classroom management skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Willingness to learn about child development A current Arizona Department of Public Safety Fingerprint Clearance Card is required for this position. •Please indicate on the application which level you are interested in and qualified for.•Villa Montessori School is an Equal Opportunity Employer
