Our mission is to provide a nurturing, Christ-centered environment where every child can grow academically, socially, and spiritually. We believe in meeting our learners where they are, celebrating their unique gifts, and providing them with the structured support they need to thrive. Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and experienced Learning Facilitator for the 2026-2027 academic year. In this role, you will serve as a vital link in our educational team, supporting our Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) and helping to manage classroom operations. You will play a hands-on role in setting up and overseeing learning centers, providing instructional support during academic blocks, and assisting with the daily care and potty-training needs of our students.
Key Responsibilities Instructional & Classroom Support Center Management:
Prepare, organize, and oversee both independent and collaborative learning centers to ensure they align with daily lesson plans.
Academic Block Support:
Facilitate learning during academic blocks, working closely with students in small groups or 1:1 settings to help them access the curriculum.
LSA Mentorship:
Provide guidance, collaboration, and daily support to Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to maintain classroom consistency.
Substitute Coverage:
Be prepared to step in and effectively implement teacher lesson plans/substitute plans in the event of a teacher's absence.
Student Care & Daily Operations Personal Care & Hygiene:
Assist students with diapering and personal hygiene needs. Because many of our learners are actively in the process of potty training, you will help implement consistent toilet-training schedules and routines.
Nurturing Environment:
Maintain a safe, positive, and Christ-centered classroom atmosphere that reflects the core values of Rosebud's Academy.
Job Requirements & Qualifications Experience:
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working directly with children with developmental disabilities in a formal school or educational setting.
Certifications:
Must hold and maintain a current CPR/First Aid certification and a valid Fingerprint Clearance Card .
Faith Alignment:
Commitment to working within a Christian-based educational environment and supporting the spiritual mission of the school.
Skills:
Strong communication skills, patience, flexibility, and a collaborative spirit.
