Special Education Teacher - Extensive Support Needs Symbal Education - 4.8 Antioch, CA Job Details Full-time $65 - $75 an hour 2 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Employee assistance program Vision insurance Professional development assistance Flexible schedule Referral program Qualifications Special education law Working with children with disabilities Special Education Certification Full Job Description Symbal Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated Extensive Support Needs (ESN) Special Education Teacher to support students in the Antioch, CA area for the upcoming school year. This is an excellent opportunity for a credentialed Special Education professional who is committed to creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students with moderate to severe disabilities. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with extensive support needs and be able to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), collaborate with school teams, and provide high-quality instruction tailored to each student's unique needs.
Responsibilities:
Provide specialized instruction to students with moderate/severe disabilities Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals and progress Create a safe, structured, and engaging classroom environment Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families Support students with academic, behavioral, communication, and functional needs Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state requirements
Qualifications:
Valid California Education Specialist Credential (Moderate/Severe or Extensive Support Needs preferred) Experience supporting students with significant support needs Knowledge of special education laws, IEP processes, and instructional strategies Strong communication and collaboration skills Commitment to supporting student growth and success
Pay:
$65.00 - $75.00 per hour
