SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Valid California Teaching Credential
  • English Language Authorization (CLAD or equivalent)
  • Knowledge of curriculum and instructional strategies; instructional materials and methods; evaluation and assessment techniques and procedures
  • Ability to Pass DOJ Background/Fingerprint Check
  • Tuberculosis Clearance
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Design and implement staff development related to Attendance Recovery Programs.
  • Assist in creation of Attendance Recovery curriculum with an emphasis on hands-on learning and enrichment activities.
  • Plan, manage, and facilitate training related to district curriculum and teaching strategies pertinent to the Attendance Recovery Programs.
  • Communicate regularly with site principals to coordinate the implementation of district programs at the site and classroom level.
  • Plan, organize, and direct programs, services, and activities aligned with the California Induction Program Standards in collaboration with the SLOCOE Consortium participating districts.
  • Develop agendas and facilitate TIP trainings, orientation, and workshops.
  • Conduct ongoing communication with beginning teachers, administrators, and support providers.

Placement on Certificated Salary Schedule ($58,273
  • $95,537) 15 years creditable experience may be accepted upon verification Master's Degree
  • 2% on base annual salary Doctorate Degree
  • additional 2% on base annual salary National Board Certification
  • additional $1,000 Based on 185 work days
