Discusses assigned teaching area with classroom teacher to coordinate instructional efforts. Provides assistance in the preparation of materials for instruction. Presents subject matter to students, utilizing a variety of methods and techniques such as lecture, discussion, and supervised role playing. Prepares, administers, and grades examinations. In assignments requiring bilingual, competency may be called upon to provide translation both oral and written. Assists students, individually or in groups, with lesson assignments to present or reinforce learning concepts. May be called upon to attend meetings with parents or other school personnel. Attends in-service and training as assigned. Prepares other job descriptions related duties as assigned. Assists with diapering students. Ability to change and dispose of diapers and soiled garments properly.
