Qualifications Experience Required:

One-year prior job-related experience paid or volunteer with school-age children preferred.

Education Required:

Completed at least two years of study at an institution of higher education; or obtained an associate's (or higher) degree; or met a rigorous standard of quality and can demonstrate, through a formal State or local academic assessment of knowledge of, and the ability to assist in instructing, reading, writing, and mathematics. Proof of HS Graduation Requirements /

Proof of HS Graduation Comments and Other Information This position is 6.00 hours per day, 180 days per year in the Transitional Kindergarten Class at North Shore Elementary School Successful applicants must obtain and/or provide the following before beginning employment:

• Fingerprint clearance from the Department of Justice and/or FBI
• Proof of tuberculosis clearance
• Social security card for payroll purposes
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States Employment with Bear Valley Unified School District is not complete or official until applicants meet all pre-employment requirements, including Governing Board approval.
