Job Description
Job Summary Join our vibrant early childhood education team as an Infant Toddler Teacher Assistant! In this dynamic role, you will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment for infants and toddlers. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help foster early childhood development, promote positive behavior, and ensure each child's unique needs are met with compassion and professionalism. Duties Assist lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate activities that promote literacy, math skills, and social-emotional growth for infants and toddlers Support classroom management by maintaining a safe, clean, and organized environment that encourages exploration and learning Engage children in play-based learning activities, fostering curiosity and developmental milestones Help with daily routines such as diapering, feeding, nap times, and hygiene to ensure comfort and safety Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to support individual needs and developmental progress Support behavior management strategies that promote positive interactions and social skills among children Contribute to lesson planning by providing input on activities aligned with early childhood education standards like Montessori or other pedagogies Requirements Prior experience working with young children in classroom or childcare settings is preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles, early childhood education practices, and classroom management techniques Familiarity with special education, working with individuals with disabilities or autism is a plus Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining patience and professionalism Basic proofreading skills for documentation and communication purposes Passion for mentoring and supporting the growth of young learners through tutoring or individualized attention Experience with behavior management strategies tailored to early childhood or special needs populations is advantageous Certification or coursework in early childhood education or related fields such as Montessori or private school experience is desirable Embark on a rewarding journey where your energy fuels the development of young minds!
