Job Description

Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Behavior Aide in a supportive educational setting! If you enjoy making a difference in students' lives and thrive in collaborative environments, this full-time contract role near Carlsbad, CA could be a perfect fit. As a Behavior Aide, you'll be a vital part of the school community, working directly with students and educators to foster academic and social success.
Key Qualifications:
Prior experience as a Paraprofessional or Behavior Aide, especially within school settings Familiarity with implementing behavior intervention plans and strategies Ability to build rapport with students and motivate positive behaviors Patient, adaptable, and proactive in dynamic classroom environments Strong communication and teamwork skills High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist classroom teachers and special education staff in daily activities and behavior support Monitor and encourage student engagement, participation, and positive behavior Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of licensed professionals Support students with special needs to access curriculum and participate in school routines Document and track student progress, providing feedback to education teams Help maintain a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment This is a full-time, contract position beginning immediately.
