Program Aide / Caregiver C&C Adult Day Healthcare Center Carson, CA Job Details Temporary From $17.27 an hour 9 hours ago Qualifications CPR Certification First aid High school diploma or GED Driver's License First Aid Certification Full Job Description If you have a passion assisting the elderly and/or adults with physical/mental disabilities, then this is the position for you.
Responsibilities:
- Transportation of participants to and from the adult day health center. Will be using Center vehicle. Needs to be comfortable driving a 15 passenger van at times.
- Assisting participants with ADLs under nursing supervision
- Reporting/Documenting progress and/or changes of participants condition to nursing staff
- Support of major group activity and recreational programs
- Arranging for appointments for participants outside the center
Work Experience:
- 1 year working with elderly population preferred
Skills:
•REQUIRED
Basic CPR/First aid certEducation:
•REQUIRED
HS diplomaMandatory Documentation Requirement:
COVID-19 VACCINE/BOOSTER
- Negative TB Test
- Hep B Vaccination
- Criminal Background Clearance
- Valid Drivers License
