Job Summary Join our vibrant early childhood education team as an Infant, Toddler, and Preschool Assistant Teacher! In this dynamic role, you will support the development and well-being of young children by assisting lead teachers in creating a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help foster curiosity, social skills, and foundational learning for children from infancy through preschool age. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate curriculum development and lesson plans that promote early childhood education, literacy, math, physical activity, and social-emotional growth Support toddlers and preschoolers with daily routines such as diapering, feeding, nap times, and hygiene to ensure their comfort and safety Engage children in educational activities that encourage exploration, creativity, and learning through play-based methods aligned with Montessori or other early childhood philosophies Help manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement techniques and effective behavior management strategies Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that adheres to childcare standards and promotes child welfare Collaborate with team members to monitor each child's developmental progress and document observations for ongoing assessment Communicate effectively with parents or guardians about their child's daily experiences, milestones, and any concerns Skills Strong understanding of childhood development principles across infant to preschool ages Experience in classroom management and lesson planning tailored to early learners Knowledge of special education needs and early intervention strategies for diverse learners Proficiency in curriculum development focused on literacy education, math skills, physical education, and social-emotional learning Ability to work effectively with children in daycare or private school settings while demonstrating patience and compassion Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members Familiarity with standardized testing procedures related to early childhood assessment tools Experience with behavior management techniques suitable for young children Background in childcare or preschool experience with toddlers care or early childhood education certifications such as Montessori training preferred This role is ideal for passionate individuals eager to foster growth in young children while developing their own skills in early childhood education. Pay:
$19.00 - $23.00 per hour
