Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Make a daily impact supporting students in a vibrant educational setting as a dedicated paraprofessional. This contract position places you at the heart of student learning, collaborating with teachers and staff to inspire growth and success. Working in a supportive school environment, you'll play a vital role in helping students reach their potential, making each day rewarding and meaningful.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Previous experience as a paraprofessional, instructional aide, or classroom support preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effectively working with students, teachers, and families Patience, adaptability, and compassion when supporting diverse student needs Ability to follow teacher direction and school policies Commitment to fostering an inclusive, positive classroom atmosphere
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist teachers with classroom management, instructional support, and small group activities Provide one-on-one or group support for students requiring additional help academically or behaviorally Implement lesson plans and educational activities as directed by the lead teacher Assist with the supervision of students in classrooms, hallways, and during transitions Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times Support the development of student independence and social skills This opportunity allows you to make a meaningful contribution while growing your skills in a school environment that values collaboration and student-centered learning.
