This is a part-time, year-round position offering 19.5 guaranteed hours per week across the full school year — giving you stability and real commitment from us in return for yours. We're looking for people who genuinely love working with kids and understand what it takes to run a structured, engaging, and safe after-school environment. • ​Supporting students with homework and academic activities
• ​Assisting with meal preparation and supervision
• ​Leading and facilitating enrichment activities that keep kids active, engaged, and focused
• ​Maintaining a safe, positive environment in line with Active Education's program standards
• ​Building relationships with students and supporting their social and emotional development
• ​

• ​Prior experience working in an after-school program or similar youth-facing role
• ​Confident, calm, and consistent with kids of varying ages and needs
• ​Organised, reliable, and able to follow structured program schedules
• ​Someone who buys into our standards and shows up every day ready to deliver
• ​Sports coaching experience a plus — especially if you're interested in daytime work Requirements
• ​High school diploma or equivalent
• ​Minimum 1 year experience working with children
• ​Valid driver's license and your own reliable transportation
• ​Complete TB test/screening
• ​Completion of mandated reporter training
• ​Live scan background check and fingerprinting CPR certification (or willingness to complete one prior to starting) The Details
