In this role, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive instruction to aspiring medical assistants, preparing them for successful careers in healthcare. To provide engaging classroom experiences, practical training, and mentorship. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to influence healthcare education and foster student success through innovative teaching methods and real-world clinical insights. Duties Develop and deliver curriculum content for medical assistant programs, incorporating current industry standards and best practices Facilitate engaging classroom lessons on medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, patient care, and clinical and administrative procedures Supervise students during laboratory sessions, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and accurate skill development. Review documentation related to clinical research, clinical trials, and patient care procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance Provide guidance and mentorship to students working with diverse populations, including pediatrics and adult patients Evaluate student performance through assessments, practical demonstrations, and ongoing feedback Requirements Proven experience in teaching higher education or adult education settings within healthcare fields. Three years teaching experience delivering clinical and administrative skills. Certification as a Medical Assistan. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, nursing practices, and hospital or clinical environments Supervising experience in clinical or laboratory settings is highly desirable Familiarity with learning technology tools. Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds and levels of expertise Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and effectively.
