Key Qualifications and Experience:
Experience as a paraprofessional in educational settings, preferably elementary level Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with students, staff, and families Ability to foster an inclusive and encouraging classroom climate Flexibility to adapt to varied instructional needs Familiarity with classroom technology and support techniques is a plus
Core Responsibilities:
Provide targeted support to elementary students in small groups or one-on-one Assist teachers with implementing lesson plans and classroom management Support students with special needs, following individualized educational plans Reinforce positive behaviors and encourage student engagement throughout the day Prepare instructional materials and assist with classroom organization Collaborate with educators and specialists to track progress and share feedback
