This recruitment will be used to fill positions for the 2026/2027 school year for the after school child care program. Typical work schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 1:45 pm - 6 pm, Wednesday 12:15 pm - 5:30 pm Positions for day classes are not available for this classification at this time. This job opportunity is open for public application and is promotional for qualified District applicants. Future permanent and substitute vacancies may also be filled from this recruitment. Please indicate your schedule preference on the application to ensure it is routed to the appropriate program for consideration.
PLEASE NOTE
Current OVSD classified employees may not hold two permanent job assignments. If you are already a permanent employee for the District and are interested in working more hours you may either submit a transfer request form to the Classified Personnel office or inquire about becoming a substitute in the same or other classifications, in addition to your permanent assignment. There will be an application screening for the position to verify that the minimum qualifications (education & experience) have been satisfied. We will email you via www.edjoin.org to advise you if you may participate in the written and/or performance exam. All candidates will be required to provide a photo ID with their signature. If you pass the written and/or performance exam, you may be scheduled to participate in an interview. Candidates must pass each portion of the exam in order to proceed in the recruitment and be placed on the eligibility list. The eligibility list for this recruitment will be valid for one year. Please note that Ocean View School District provides training to obtain ABA/DTT certification. Verification of successful completion of this training is required within three months of hire.
Written Exam:
