Irvine Chinese Immersion Academy is seeking a dedicated and student-centered English Instructional Aide to support English language arts instruction and student learning in a dual-language immersion environment. This role works closely with classroom teachers to provide academic support, reinforce literacy skills, and help create an engaging and supportive learning environment for TK-8 students. The English Instructional Aide will assist with classroom activities, small group instruction, and individualized student support while promoting student confidence, communication, and academic growth. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about education, literacy development, and working collaboratively in a diverse school community.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Support classroom instruction in English language arts and related subjects
  • Provide small group and one-on-one academic support to students
  • Assist teachers with lesson preparation, classroom organization, and instructional materials
  • Reinforce literacy, reading comprehension, writing, and communication skills
  • Monitor and support student engagement and behavior during instructional activities
  • Supervise students during classroom transitions and assigned activities as needed
  • Assist with assessments, grading preparation, and student work organization
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
