As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the minds and lives of young children. You will create a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, grow, and develop important skills for their future.
Responsibilities:
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities and lesson plans
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Provide guidance and support to children with special education needs or developmental delays
  • Teach basic literacy, numeracy, and social skills
  • Utilize effective behavior management techniques
  • Monitor and assess each child's progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a comprehensive curriculum
  • Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment
  • Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding their child's development
Qualifications:
  • 12 Early Childhood Units required
  • Previous experience working in a daycare or preschool setting
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices
  • Familiarity with behavior management strategies
  • Ability to effectively communicate with children, parents/guardians, and colleagues
  • Experience working with children on the autism spectrum is a plus
