Program Aide

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and patient Program Aide to assist participants in a West Covina Adult Day Care Center. The Program Aide supports daily activities, provides companionship, and helps create a safe, respectful, and engaging environment for older adults and adults with disabilities or special needs. Responsibilities Assist participants with daily activities and recreational programs Support social, educational, and wellness activities Help serve meals and snacks and assist participants during mealtimes Monitor participant safety and report concerns to staff Provide companionship and emotional support Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment Assist with mobility, transfers, or walking when needed Follow center policies, health regulations, and safety procedures Communicate respectfully with participants, families, and staff Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Experience working with seniors or adults with disabilities preferred Caring, patient, and dependable personality Ability to work well with a team Good communication and interpersonal skills CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain Skills Compassion and empathy Strong observation skills Dependable and punctual Ability to multitask and stay organized Respectful and professional attitude

Pay:

$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
