Position Overview We are seeking experienced and passionate Montessori Lead and Assistant Teachers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable, dependable, and flexible, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. This role requires building strong relationships with children and families, developing curriculum, and creating an engaging, respectful, and safe classroom environment. Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and implement Montessori-inspired curriculum and lesson plans Foster independence, curiosity, and a love of learning through engaging activities Build meaningful partnerships with parents through consistent communication and collaboration Maintain a positive and professional classroom environment aligned with Montessori philosophy Work collaboratively with fellow staff to support school-wide initiatives and goals Ensure compliance with licensing standards, safety protocols, and school policies Qualifications AMI or AMS Montessori certification (preferred) Prior Montessori classroom teaching experience strongly preferred Warm, patient, and engaging approach with children ages [insert age group, e.g., 2-6 years] Strong interpersonal and communication skills with parents and colleagues Ability to adapt, problem-solve, and contribute to a team-oriented culture Proficient in California Licensing Title 22 regulations CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire) What We Offer Competitive pay (commensurate with experience and certification) Professional development and training opportunities Supportive team culture and leadership Beautiful Montessori classrooms and materials Tuition Discount for children of teachers
