Requirements:

A minimum of 12 ECE units or in progress. Have a personal relationship with God.

Hours needed:

Full and Part-time positions availible.

Responsibilities:

Help preschool children learn through play, at their developmental level, in a variety of learning centers. Report to the director any special needs or problems of individual children, including suspected child abuse or neglect. Supervise the children. Position yourself to handle the needs of individual children or parent while visually scanning the playground or classroom as needed. Be aware of children in your care at all times. May serve as the substitute teacher on occasion. Communicate with parents, coworkers, and children in a kind and respectful manner. Assist if needed in creating developmentally appropriate lesson plans for a.m., p.m., days off, outside, and summer program. May also be asked to assist with snacks, doing laundry, changing diapers, setting up outdoor activities, and setting up nap cots.
