Early Childhood Education Full Job Description Job Overview:

LBCDC is seeking two positions: 1. A part time afternoon Preschool Supportive Teacher who desires to co-teach and or who can come along side each age group and support the primary teachers as needed and necessary. 2. A Full time Pre-school Teacher with experience working with ages 3.5

• 5 Years of age We desire someone who wants to work at a Christ centered faith-based school, who not only loves the Lord, but who knows they are called to work with young children.

We are looking for a dedicated, passionate Teacher/Supportive teacher who is willing grow with our team and bring excitement, fun, creativity, consistency and commitment. Our ideal candidates will have experience working with young children and possesses a background in early childhood education. Someone who can be assertive and take charge but also receive direction and who is flexible. As a team we want the best for one another, our children and families while at LBCDC.

Education:

1 year experience and a minimum of 12 core ECE units +

Responsibilities:

• Help implement weekly lesson plans, daily routine and create a positive experience that meets each Childs need as well as the classroom group
• Provide a clean, fun, safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
• Conduct activities that promote spiritual, physical, emotional, and social development
• Monitor and document children's progress and behavior
• Collaborate with co-teacher, Director and parents to ensure the best possible outcomes for each child while at our school

Experience:

• Experience working with preschool-aged children 2 through 6
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
• Familiarity with daycare or early intervention programs
• Understanding of childhood development stages
• Ability to provide toddler care with patience and compassion
• Proficient in classroom management techniques tailored for preschool settings
