Qualifications & Experience:
Demonstrated prior experience as a paraprofessional in a school environment Familiarity with individualized instruction and small group support Ability to assist students with academic tasks, behavior guidance, and engagement Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers and staff Reliable, adaptable, and proactive in meeting classroom needs Valid paraprofessional credentials or equivalent, as required by local regulations
Key Responsibilities:
Support classroom teachers with instructional and non-instructional tasks Carry out individualized support for students as needed Facilitate a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment Assist with progress monitoring and record-keeping Foster student independence and engagement Contribute to IEP implementation for students with special education needs Participate in faculty meetings, training sessions, and ongoing professional development As an essential part of the educational team, you'll empower students and play a key role in daily classroom success.
