This paid position offers a unique opportunity to foster a vibrant learning atmosphere, support instructional activities, and ensure the smooth operation of our studio space. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help cultivate a positive community dedicated to growth and creativity. Duties Instructing beginner wheel-throwing classes, setting up equipment, materials, and ensuring a welcoming environment for participants Support the planning and preparation of studio activities, workshops, and special events Maintain cleanliness and organization of the studio space, including equipment and supplies Greet students, visitors, and staff with enthusiasm, providing tours of the studio, excellent customer service and answering general inquiries Help assist with members as needed Support and assist other instructors Contribute to creating a lively, inclusive atmosphere that encourages participation and community engagement Requirements Prior experience wheel-throwing is required Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Excellent communication skills and a friendly, energetic demeanor Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also taking initiative independently Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and support various studio activities University experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with academic or creative environments Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift light equipment or supplies as needed This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to inspire others while gaining valuable experience in a creative setting.
