In this role, you will support lead teachers in providing a nurturing, safe, and development-focused environment across our infant, toddler, and preschool programs. Your enthusiasm will help foster early childhood growth, promote social-emotional development, and create a warm "second home" for our young learners. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact while gaining valuable early childhood education experience.
Position Description Curriculum Support:
Assist lead teachers in implementing development-focused daily activities that promote curiosity, confidence, and creativity in literacy, math, and social skills.
Individualized Care:
Support children's developmental milestones by providing compassionate care, individual attention, and behavior management strategies during classroom routines and playtime.
Classroom Management:
Help maintain a clean, organized, safe, and structured yet flexible learning environment that adapts to the needs of diverse learners, including children with special needs.
Meal & Routine Support:
Assist with thoughtfully planned, healthy daily meal times (breakfast, lunch, and snacks) and support potty training routines or toddler care as needed.
Parent Communication:
Collaborate with the team to communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding their child's progress, daily behaviors, and milestones using our comprehensive Little Angels School App . Skills & Qualifications Strong understanding of early childhood development, play-based learning methodologies, and positive classroom management practices. Passion for instilling strong moral values, confidence, and a collaborative spirit in young explorers. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to seamlessly connect with children, parents, and fellow staff members.
Childcare License & Certifications:
Current CPR and First Aid certifications (or willingness to obtain them) are required. Must be able to pass the standard California Background check. Ability to physically engage with active children, managing outdoor play, garden activities, and classroom routines with energy and enthusiasm. Join us in shaping the future by inspiring young minds!
