ADHC/CBAS
Center Dignity Adult Day Health Care Looking for a driver to Safely pick up & return participants from their homes to our CBAS center Spanish Speaking preferred Experience driving busses, vans and assisting the frail and elderly preferred. The Program Aide position provides supportive services to the ADHC participants and perform administrative duties under the direction and supervision of professional staff members as assigned by the Program Director.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
ADHC Daily Operations Safely pick up & return participants from their homes to our CBAS center. Assist Activity Coordinator with various activity programs. Closely monitor and assist with participants' transfer and ambulation. Coordinate transportation services for participants. Attends and participates in center in-services training and education programs Physically capable both of performing the required duties and of assisting frail elderly and disabled adults, as necessary Will be responsible for assisting each of our participants with meals, activities of daily living and hygienic care needs Maintain cleanliness in program areas. Transport participants to and from their homes safely. Assist participants in and out of home and vehicle as necessary. Record transportation time for each participant's home to center and center to home in the transportation log. Maintain the vehicle(s), keep clean at all times, and check regularly for safety. (i,e., brakes, engine oil, tune-up etc.). Keep the record of vehicle maintenance checklist updated.6. Keep the vehicle up to safety code at all times. Attend on-going in-service training by the center.8. Perform any other job that the Administrator may assign
Qualifications:
The Vehicle Operator must maintain a good driving record.
Passenger Endorsement Job Types:
