Jesus Christ Primary Description:
The Teacher's Aide has the primary responsibility to assist the lead teacher in organizing and carrying out the developmental program for the children. The director and teacher will supervise the teacher's aide. The teacher's aide will supervise the children. The substitute has the primary responsibility for carrying out the lesson plans of the teacher either by supporting the teacher as an aide or acting in place of an absent teacher. An Aide will work from Mon to Fri 8:30 am to 1:00 pm.Status:

Shoreline Preschool Director Ministry Responsibilities:
General support of the Director and Teacher Attend and actively participate in regularly scheduled staff meetings Support the implementation of teacher's lesson plans that foster social, emotional, physical, and academic growth with an emphasis on Christian beliefs and values Use imagination and creativity, and give the children the opportunity to use a variety of materials Supervise the children Help prepare the daily program materials Maintain housekeeping standards Help create a positive, warm, and accepting environment Recognize that each child is a sensitive, thinking individual, who deserves to be treated with an understanding of their different moods and abilities Help children build confidence, accept limitations, and remove distractions Help teach health and safety habits and remain controlled in startling or difficult situations Offer enriching language experiences Guide nutritional experiences While guiding group relations, be alert to the total group, even when dealing with a part of it Requirements Sufficient maturity and judgment to work independently Child Development Associate Teache High School graduate At least 18 years of age At least 6 units in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or Child, Family & Community Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord… (Colossians 3:23)Job Type:
