Under the general direction of a credentialed academic teacher, the teaching assistant shall give support to teacher(s) by providing educational services to assigned/enrolled students. The teaching assistant's duties involve: tutoring one-on-one sessions; facilitating small group sessions; correcting student homework, quizzes, and other class work; assisting in testing students; working with the teacher to assist with monitoring student progress; and, tracking program completions.
