hours weekly Start Date Tuesday, August 18, 2026 Job Summary Job Summary Assist classroom teacher in the overall education, guidance, management, academic assessment, instruction, and care of students. Assist teacher with clerical and other non-instructional duties.
  • Assist the classroom teacher in creating an environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of the students;
  • Assist with planning and preparation of activities, equipment and materials;
  • Assist in establishing and maintaining standards of student behavior;
  • Assist in providing a safe learning environment;
  • Assists and guides students by providing appropriate role modeling, emotional support, patience, and a friendly and engaging attitude.
  • Provide reteaching to individuals or small groups of students after teacher-directed instruction;
  • Conduct learning exercises with small groups of students.
