Instructional Assistant III Inclusive Support at Oak Park Unified Print Application Deadline Until Filled Date Posted 5/4/2026 Contact Melissa Curtis 818-735-3220 Number of Openings 3 Salary Pay Range $22.56 - $28.26 Per Hour Add'l Salary Info $22.56 - $28.26 Length of Work Year School Year Employment Type Part Time Job Summary Job Summary Under the supervision of a site administrator and the direction of a behavior specialist, certificated/classified staff (which may include a teacher, behavior specialist, registered behavior technician, or other specialists), Instructional Assistant supports both academic instruction and behavioral programming. The role includes reinforcing instruction, implementing behavior intervention plans, supporting personal care needs, and maintaining data for student progress and performance. Education and Work Experience:
  • A high school diploma (or its equivalent)
  • One year of experience working with students in an organized setting
  • Two years of college (48 units) OR an AA degree (or higher)
  • Completion of Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training (or willingness to complete upon hire)
  • Minimum of 20 hours of specialized training in the area of autism/applied behavior analysis (may be completed upon hire)
  • Minimum of 10 hours of supervision by a behavior specialist, school psychologist, or other appropriate personnel.
