Job Description

Job description We are looking for an experienced Spanish-speaking teaching assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a desire to continue to grow and learn. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to make a difference in the lives of our students. The Renaissance International School is a Montessori School in Oakland that enjoys a wonderful park setting, a strong and highly credentialed faculty, an enthusiastic and supportive parent community, and solid administrative leadership. We pride ourselves in our extensive Music, Studio Art and Multilingual program.
Requirements:
Native Spanish speaking 12 Early Childhood Units Interest or affinity for Montessori Philosophy Willing to follow directions and assume responsibility A love for children Experience working with preschool-age children is a must A desire to continue learning A passion for education A passion for excellence A team player A friendly, flexible, and kind personality A college or university degree is very desirable Experience and ability to work in a multilingual and multicultural environment General working hours 1pm-5pm with some flexibility asked of the candidate.
