In this role, you will assist students who require instructional, behavioral, and personal support under the supervision of teachers and special education staff. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in education while making a meaningful impact on student success in both classroom and specialized settings.

Monday-Friday (Hours vary by placement; up to 30 hrs/week)

August 17, 2026 Placement Opportunities Assignments vary by district and may include: San Dieguito SPED Instructional Aides with Health Aide duties Responsibilities may include toileting, changing, and other care tasks (with training from RN) Standard school-day schedules Oceanside Mild/Moderate Special Education Instructional Aides 1:1 student support and classroom assistance Standard school-day schedules Poway After-School Program Aides Approximate hours: 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM Key Responsibilities Provide instructional and behavioral support to students Assist with classroom activities and student engagement Support students with personal care and mobility needs when required Follow direction from teachers and school staff Promote a safe, supportive, and structured learning environment Maintain professionalism and compliance with school policies Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required Minimum 6 months of experience working with children Ability to comply with professional standards of practice Current CPR certification (if applicable) TB screening (questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray if required) Current health certificate (per state or contract requirements) Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements Must be at least 18 years of age
Compensation Pay Rate:
