Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Bring your passion and dedication to a rewarding role supporting students as a Paraprofessional in an educational setting. In this contract position, you will assist dedicated educators and empower learners to reach their fullest potential. Your work will foster positive relationships and a vibrant, inclusive classroom environment near beautiful Oceanside, CA. Successful candidates demonstrate adaptability, strong communication, and a genuine enthusiasm for helping children thrive academically and socially.
Key Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Paraprofessional or supporting students in a school environment Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families Strong organizational and communication skills Patience, empathy, and creativity in supporting diverse learners High school diploma or equivalent required; further education or certifications a bonus Ability to follow school policies and confidentiality guidelines
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide instructional and behavioral support to students during classroom activities Collaborate with educators to adapt lessons and materials Assist with student supervision in classrooms, hallways, and common areas Encourage student participation and facilitate engagement in learning Help implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) as directed Support classroom management and reinforce positive behavior strategies
