  • $104,974 Annually Add'l Salary Info $12,936 Health, Dental, Vision Length of Work Year 184 Employment Type Full Time Job Summary Job Summary Golden Feather Union Elementary School District is seeking a full-time Mild/Moderate Education Specialist to serve students at Spring Valley School and help develop a new Learning Center model designed to provide flexible, targeted, small-group instruction.
This unique position will support students with IEPs, including students who require mild/moderate Special Day Class support during portions of the school day, as well as students receiving Tier 2 and Tier 3 academic interventions. The Learning Center will be developed in collaboration with our reading specialist/literacy coach and will provide leveled intervention, specialized academic instruction, IEP goal support, and strategic push-in services throughout the school day. The Education Specialist will work closely with general education teachers, para-educators, service providers, families, and administration to design student schedules, monitor progress, support IEP compliance, and help students build confidence, independence, and academic skills. This position is ideal for an Education Specialist who is interested in more than a traditional caseload model and wants to help build a student-centered system of support in a small-school environment.
